When alcohol was outlawed in the United States, West End soon became the #1 town in the Bahamas for Bootleggers. It is a common fact that mob boss, Al Capone, and the Mobley Gang frequented West End during the days of bootlegging.

Strolling through West End, one can feel quite relaxed and charmed by the warm and friendly "West Enders." Known throughout the island as the fishing capital of the Bahamas, you might see fishermen tending to their catch of the day that ranges from fresh conch to large and tasty spiny lobster. You will enjoy the view riding along Bayshore road that is lined with mounds of pink conch shells and are available for your taking.

Once you have reached West End you will board one of our custom built tour boats equipped with the most modern snorkel equipment for your comfort and safety. Your journey begins with a 30-minute cruise to a pristine snorkeling site teaming with staghorn and elkhorn corals, stingrays, lobster, starfish and an occasional dolphin will come by to visit. Following your snorkel encounter, you will travel to a deserted island and be treated to a delicious native Bahamian lunch complete with the complimentary "Perfect Day" drinks!

While on your own private island, you will have the opportunity to stroll the beach searching for treasures of the sea or maybe even come across a nesting loggerhead turtle. Snorkel equipment, banana boat rides, volleyball, fishing and many more activities will be available.
